Table Massage Feng Shui

Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese science of placement. The principles of Feng Shui can be applied to your massage table and your massage room.

Your massage table is usually located in the center of your treatment room. Based on the bagua method of Feng Shui, this area corresponds to health.

Here are some tips for this area:

•  Stones. Keep a large stone or round statue under the table as it is grounding in this area. You can get something like this at a garden store. This area corresponds to health which is ruled by earth.

•  Clutter. Avoid storing anything under your massage table. Cluttering this area will lower the healing energy.

•  Crystals . Hang a round faceted crystal from the ceiling above the massage table. This has a balancing effect.

•  Headpiece. Put a shallow bowl of water under the headpiece with flowers, stones or eucalyptus in it. It will give your clients something nice to look at when they are lying face down.

•  Sheets. Use natural fabrics in neutral earth tone colors.
