Endermologie
This is a machine developed by a French company, LPG, that diminishes the appearance of cellulite. It has been approved by the FDA and can be a good additional way to monetize your practice.
The treatment feels very similar to deep tissue massage and myofascial release. Clients wear a specially designed thin leotard during the treatment, and treatments last around 45 minutes. Pictures are taken at the start of a series, and at the end.
Endermologie was developed in France in the 1980s as a way to get rid of scar tissue. It was discovered by accident that it also got rid of cellulite.
You can charge between $100 and $150 a session depending on where you are located and clients sign up for a series of 14 sessions at a time. Some clients will require more than one series to see results. It works best on clients who are under 45 and are less than 25 pounds overweight. The closer the client is to their ideal weight, the better their results will be. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day, exercising, and eating a healthy diet will increase results.
The machine is very expensive and costs over $20,000; however, it can be very profitable. If you are going to monetize your practice this way, you should go through at least one series yourself to get more familiar with the therapy and make sure this is right for your practice.
Endermologie also helps to break up scar tissue and speeds recovery after liposuction.
